Here at The Z Review, we are proud of our brutal honesty and opinions, including our arguably peculiar music tastes. Music is a big deal here at the Z, and I personally love writing about anything music-related.

Speaking of music, my own taste is brought up on a daily basis in terms of how “strange” and “weird” it is. Well, the word used instead by my fellow millennials is just “shit.” Most of the people in my age group just don’t seem to get on board with the music that I choose to listen to.

At twenty-three years of age, this is the only thing I find that slightly distances myself from my friends and peers. But rather than my fellow mainstream millennials giving any of my favourite bands a chance, they simply recoil in horror and even find themselves cowering in fear from said music. If it’s not mainstream, it’s just plain terrifying.

I don’t know what it is. Perhaps it’s the twenty minute Rush songs? Or the satanic chants of Black Sabbath? Whatever it is, it scares the living shit out of my fellow young people.

None of this music is scary at all, but if scaring away millennials is what you’re looking for, here’s a playlist that will do just that. You’re most welcome, from your local British millennial with the mental age of forty.
