LaFrae Sci is a session drummer who’s been part of the New York City music scene for decades. In a long ago time that we’ll call “September 2017,” she was kind enough to sit down with us and engage in a practice known as “Five Questions,” in which we asked her five questions and she answered them. It was glorious.

Fast forward to early June 2018, and she has seen fit to bestow upon us her newest creation, a custom playlist that she has made for us, her close personal friends at The Z Review. The playlist, which she has dubbed “Pink and Purple,” has a surprisingly straightforward premise,  and while one would expect a skin-basher with as much experience as she has to choose highly technical music that only the most advanced percussion student could fathom, she chose nothing but Prince and Pink Floyd songs.

If you don’t like it, tough titty.
