The year was 2017. The Z Review was a fledgling publication where only the most intrepid dared venture. And yet, even in that uncertain context, singer, songwriter and overall brilliant musician Paula Frazer did us a solid and participated in one of our first-ever “Five Questions” interview features.

It was glorious. We learned about her and she learned about us. More importantly, she suffered no damage whatsoever to her career as a result of her association with us, and so she agreed to come back and curate a bunch of songs for our newest feature, The Z Review Playlist.

She didn’t want to stick to a very strict theme, so she chose songs that influenced her in the past and inspires her today. It includes a wide range of music, but anyone who’s familiar with her work should know to expect that by now.

Without further ado, please enjoy this playlist, compiled by chanteuse and friend of The Z Review, Paula Frazer.
