I’m still pissed.

I know people love to say Hillary Clinton lost the election because she was one of the ‘most hated presidential candidates in our nation’s history,’ but that’s utter horse shit. She lost because of Bernie Sanders and his navel gazing, selfish, fuckface following.  Hillary Clinton would have been a great president, despite whatever perceived flaws she may have had. The truth is, her flaws were largely made up by the GOP with a lot of help by Bernie fucking Sanders.

I’m still pissed.

I saw it coming. I knew that Sanders would capture the imagination of that certain, loathsome contingent of humanity – the ones that think they’re smarter than they really are. There’s nothing worse, really. A true moron can’t help themselves – they are handicapped…it’s a congenital malfunction. A mediocrity with delusions of grandeur is far worse. That is who Bernie Sanders is – and those are his followers.

I’m still pissed.

Now we have Trump – a true moron who can’t help himself. I don’t blame his supporters. They couldn’t help themselves either. They eat shit and love it. They believe in their fairytales, shoot their guns, cling to their ignorance like a baby with a rattle. They are mental midgets who live to be manipulated. They are a lost cause. Bernie Sanders people, on the other hand, well they’re just a bunch of bandwagon dipsydoodles. Sanders was their trucker hat du jour. He was the craft beer…the artisanal bourbon…the porkbelly slider of the fucking 2016 election.

I’m still pissed.

Where are the Bernie or busters, nowadays? You don’t hear from them much, do you? They certainly take no accountability for their unconscionable actions – or inaction. They keep their heads down, but I won’t forget…and guess what, neither will millions of others. You and your fucking revolution – jeebus mamaloocha…how’s that going for you? You were sold a pipe dream from a geriatric snake oil salesman, just as craven and megalomaniacal as Trump. He speaks about himself in the third person – did that not give you any hints to his mentality?

I’m still pissed.

Now we’re facing an existential threat with that lunatic in North Korea. You know who would have been the best person to be handling this crisis? Hillary FUCKING Clinton. She had the experience, the guts, the tenacity and the intellectual firepower to deal with that dickless wonder and his fucking ridiculous haircut, currently threatening Guam with his ICBMs. You worms…you untenable muldoons…you nimrods…you tat-sleeved, bearded, nipple ringed doucheknockers.

I’m still pissed.

No…no…no. Hillary Clinton did not lose because she was a ‘horrible candidate’…she was a fantastic candidate…she was exactly who we need right now. She lost because Bernie Sanders and his followers are misogynistic, myopic, and moronic. Period. I still see their sullen, stupid little faces at the Democratic convention holding up their anti TPP signs. As if these twits even knew what it was. You wanna know what TPP would have done? It would have given us economic leverage over fucking China, you dim-bulbs. Something we could have used as a bargaining chip to force them to exert pressure on North Korea. TPP put us in the driver’s seat on trade. Oh…but it was bad, right? Because Bernie said so. You parrot-brained sheep.

I’m still pissed.

Yeah, yeah…it was a ‘perfect storm’…Russia, Comey, Trump’s legion of dumbshits…but really. I reserve my deepest ire for Bernie Sanders and his busters. They made the difference. They lost Hillary the election. They screwed our nation. And why? For no fucking good reason. If Sanders hadn’t injected his wrinkled, alter kocker tuchas into the race, Clinton would have won by a landslide…a LANDSLIDE. Bernie wrote the false narrative about Clinton and handed it over to the GOP on a silver platter. He said that she was a corporate shill for Wall Street…that she made too much money from her speaking engagements….guess what he’s up to now? Making buttloads from his speaking engagements – you insufferable fools!

I’m still pissed.

BENIE SANDERS WAS NEVER EVEN A DEMOCRAT!

I’m still pissed.

Well, I hope you’re happy now…I hope you’re pleased with the result. We’ve got Trump. In six short months, he’s turned our nation into a laughing stock and is pushing us all to the precipice of Armageddon. I hope you are happy now…you misogynistic, sullen, navel gazing, parrot brained, dipsydoodle, hipster, clueless fuckfaces. I hope you’re all laughing your stupid fuckface asses off when Trump starts a nuclear holocaust.

I’m still pissed…and I always will be.

  1. Bernie Bros are as bad as anti-vaxxers, climate change deniers, Trump diehards, and others who operate on faith and hate. They never change their minds, they cannot be shamed, no matter the evidence of their irrationality and bigotry. The evidence is right here in the Comments.

  2. Some more numbers to ponder and digest:

If “Did Not Vote” had been a candidate in last November’s election, Trump would have won the states of Wisconsin and Iowa. Hillary would have won Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Minnesota, Colorado and Delaware.

Got the math here? Trump would have won two states for a total of 18 electoral votes. Hillary would have won seven states plus the District of Columbia for a total of 54 electoral votes.

Just so that we’re totally clear on this, these are the states in which Trump’s and Hillary’s popular vote totals were greater than the number of voter-eligible population that did not vote.

“Did Not Vote” would have won all 41 of the remaining states, for a total of 466 electoral votes. A sweeping landslide by any measure, and one of the biggest landslides in history.

Perhaps you’re getting pissed off at the wrong people here.

    • In your scenario HRC would have trounced Trump. Thanks for the trip to fantasy land. Back in the real world, if Sanders had graciously unified the convention, as HRC and 42 did for Obama in 2008, and enthusiastically rallied his supporters to the polls on Nov 8th, the deplorable deranged demagogue would not be in charge today.

    FACT CHECK
    Numbers don’t lie.

After the Democratic Convention when Bernie was out of the picture and Hillary was the nominee, she had a 10 point lead over Donald Trump.

    10 Points.

    That’s leading, not trailing.

To give you an idea of how big that lead is, you know the election in 1988 where HW Bush beat Dukakis? That was shy of 8 points.

Had Hillary maintained that 10 point lead, the result would have been a decisive landslide not seen since 1984.

If it WERE true that the Bernie-or-Busters were an essential demographic that Hillary couldn’t win without or it HAD been the case that Sanders had mortally wounded Hillary’s campaign, the numbers post-convention would have reflected it. They didn’t. The numbers show hard evidence that Bernie was not a factor in the general election.

Sorry if that ruins your narrative. Facts can be so annoying, right?

Take a deep breath, let’s stop fighting each other and run a better campaign next time.

  4. Lol, what rubbish. Anyone with half a brain could do the math and figure out why Trump won (hint, it had nothing to do with Sander’s supporters either voting for Trump or sitting home).

  5. Sure are a good deal of creative insults and condescending generalizations in this article; it’s just a shame that there wasn’t a single shred of statistical data or academic analysis cited to back any of them.
Personally, my peers and I, while proud supporters of Bernie Sanders in the primaries as well as donors to the Democratic Party, would never have voted for Hillary Clinton because we fundamentally disagree with her policies on matters such as the Israel-Palestine conflict, campaign finance reform, and NAFTA. Her record on gay rights and association with scandals such as the Clinton Foundation’s warrant a pause for discussion, at the least.
God forbid we have our own opinions and debate them in the open forum of democracy, right?

Unfortunately for your article, we were not the typical democratic primary participants.
It may be conveniently easy to blame Bernie and his supporters for the lost election, however this is distinctly separate from the political reality, first and foremost as illustrated by the polls which pitted Trump against prospective opponents throughout the primary process. Bernie repeatedly performed better against Trump than any other candidate.
Bernie Sanders himself forsook his rhetoric and wholeheartedly backed Clinton at the DNC in an attempt to prevent the election of Trump. I challenge you to find a single instance between that time and election night where he did anything but actively and publicly support Clinton in her bid.
If that’s not enough, I ask that you please look at the statistics regarding the exit polls. The majority of former Bernie supporters voted for Clinton, and next to none supported Trump. To assume that without Bernie more people would have voted, or that those who voted 3rd party would have supported Clinton is not only a (pointlessly) absurd notion, but a downright demeaning insinuation that your fellow Americans are unable to make decisions for themselves, let alone stand by their morals.

We, however, refuse to mitigate our voices or consent to policies we fundamentally disagree with simply because they represent the lesser of two evils. Especially if they appear incapable of directly addressing difficult questions. Differing ethical/political standards do not make us misogynistic.

What’s more, regardless of your perceived (and very palpable) outrage or intentions, I think it’s important to point out that this piece of yours contributes absolutely nothing to meaningful political discourse. Those who agree with you will share your anger, possibly alienating Bernie supporters from their lives, and those who do not will feel attacked and belittled due to the (quite explicit) elitist, insulting overtones of the article.
Even as somebody who disagrees with what you’ve said, I read through the entire piece, desperately hoping that there would be some theory of substance, some suggestion or significant argument, or perhaps a proposed solution. Instead, I found nothing but hatred as blind as that you attribute to your supposed political adversaries.

Needless to say, any Bernie supporter who reads this, myself included, will if anything be far less likely to cooperate with Hillary or any other establishment democrat in the future if this is the sort of response we can expect for trying to start a dialogue or raise issues which would otherwise go unaddressed.
Finger-pointing after the fact achieves nothing.

Maybe it’s satisfying to spout your hateful stereotypes so as to make yourself feel superior to those around you. Maybe it’s easier to just spew angry profanities than attempt to express your opinions in any sort of actual theoretical analysis or dialogue.
Maybe it’s energizing to evoke raw hatred devoid of meaning outside of controversy as a means of getting attention.
Yet in spite of your reasons or how you may believe this article appears, anybody who examines it for substance would be left with the impression that it was written by a petulant child, as opposed to an adult with considered, educated, multi-dimensional opinions. It is my (minuscule) hope that you read this, take this as a suggestion, and edit it into something resembling a respectable journalistic piece.

So please, if it is impossible to remember that we are thinking, caring human beings, capable and desiring of the best for our country, then remember that tearing us down with juvenile slander is at best useless, and at worst an endeavor destructive to everything you wish to achieve.

    • Sure are a good deal of creative insults and condescending generalizations in this article; it’s just a shame that there wasn’t a single shred of statistical data or academic analysis cited to back any of them.

Hmmm… I really thought putting ‘And I’m still pissed’ in the title would be a clear indication of the tone and type of article it would be. So, you were looking for a deep academic analysis of why I loathe Bernie and his busters, huh?

Personally, my peers and I, while proud supporters of Bernie Sanders in the primaries as well as donors to the Democratic Party, would never have voted for Hillary Clinton because we fundamentally disagree with her policies on matters such as the Israel-Palestine conflict, campaign finance reform, and NAFTA. Her record on gay rights and association with scandals such as the Clinton Foundation’s warrant a pause for discussion, at the least.

Ok…so you prefer Trump’s thoughtful policies and well considered strategies on all these matters. Nice. I especially loved when he decreed a military ban for all trans people via Twitter. I seriously wonder a) if you actually know anything about any of these issues and b) how they impact your life. Nothing would give me more pleasure than to hear your academic analysis on NAFTA and TPP and how we’re better off on trade without it. I’m sure it would be as scintillating as receiving a colonoscopy from an irate 500 pound gorilla.

God forbid we have our own opinions and debate them in the open forum of democracy, right?
Unfortunately for your article, we were not the typical democratic primary participants.

Yes…I think I well described what you were – something about the loathsome contingent of humanity that suffers from the delusion that they’re more intellectually inclined than they really are. There was also that stuff about parrot brained sheep fuckfaces…I particularly enjoyed writing that!

Bernie did not win the primary so this point is moot. But I also know Trump and the Republicans would have made mincemeat of him. The socialist that spent his honeymoon in Russia would have gone over big with Americans in the flyover states…oh the tragic irony of it all.

Bernie Sanders himself forsook his rhetoric and wholeheartedly backed Clinton at the DNC in an attempt to prevent the election of Trump. I challenge you to find a single instance between that time and election night where he did anything but actively and publicly support Clinton in her bid.

If by active and public you mean pathetically tepid and begrudging…then you’re absolutely right! Now for your homework…show me one instance where he actually gave a full throated endorsement of Clinton and her abilities and I’ll buy you a candy bar.

I don’t need to ‘assume’ that without Bernie more people would have voted – it’s a statistical fact. https://ww2.kqed.org/lowdown/2016/11/15/how-millennials-voted-in-the-2016-presidential-election/ Oh… there’s some of that statistical data you were talking about! Sweet!

We, however, refuse to mitigate our voices or consent to policies we fundamentally disagree with simply because they represent the lesser of two evils. Especially if they appear incapable of directly addressing difficult questions. Differing ethical/political standards do not make us misogynistic.

Yes…believe me I understand. The abjectly mediocre have historically always had the loudest and least mitigated voice in society. I would add that anyone who wouldn’t pick the ‘lesser of two evils’ has the cognitive function of a brussel sprout. Not that I thought she was in any way ‘evil’…but even still — the choice couldn’t have been clearer. And yes, the fact that the loudest and ‘least mitigated’ Bernie or busters tend to be white males is a red flag on the misogyny!

What’s more, regardless of your perceived (and very palpable) outrage or intentions, I think it’s important to point out that this piece of yours contributes absolutely nothing to meaningful political discourse.

It wasn’t meant to add anything to anything – merely to vent and possibly give others an opportunity to do so as well. Including you…in your very unmitigated way – seriously, I think your comment was longer than my piece! We’re not paying you by the way!

Those who agree with you will share your anger, possibly alienating Bernie supporters from their lives, and those who do not will feel attacked and belittled due to the (quite explicit) elitist, insulting overtones of the article.

From your mouth to god’s ear, baby!

Jeebus mamaloocha, you are a precious little snowflake, aren’t you? Again, the title of the piece ended with, ‘I’m still pissed!’…this was not the Lincoln/Douglas debates part deux!

Hmmm…see, I disagree with you there – this piece has, in fact, started a dialogue! See all the comments in the little boxes below? I’m not ‘mitigating’ anyone’s voice – least of all yours!

Maybe it’s satisfying to spout your hateful stereotypes so as to make yourself feel superior to those around you. Maybe it’s easier to just spew angry profanities than attempt to express your opinions in any sort of actual theoretical analysis or dialogue.

Yes…I’ve always found it easy to spew angry profanities – it’s a lot of fun too!

Maybe it’s energizing to evoke raw hatred devoid of meaning outside of controversy as a means of getting attention.

Way more energizing that a 5-hour energy drink – and no calories! A moment on the lips is a lifetime on the hips!

Respectable journalism will not stand here at the Z Review! We prefer honesty, emotion and flair here at the Z. Lots of flair!

So please, if it is impossible to remember that we are thinking, caring human beings, capable and desiring of the best for our country, then remember that tearing us down with juvenile slander is at best useless, and at worst an endeavor destructive to everything you wish to achieve.

Yes…you wanted the best for this country – that’s why you helped to get Trump elected. Thank you for that…it’s much appreciated. But please do keep reading and commenting…it’s all about provoking a dialogue, after all!

  6. TheSenateCandidate's Sister on

Okay, before saying anything else, I should say that my sister was with the Green party for 20 years… she ran for senate three times, twice in Tennessee, once in Oregon (with the Pacific Greens)… and she left the party in disgust over what happened in this election. I was there for the whole thing. She has all the street cred there is to talk about this, and I have been treated to some award-winning anti-Bernie rants since the election. (I really should put those on Youtube…) Anyone who wants to dump on this article, were you in the Green Party for 20 years? Did you put in untold free hours on running and speaking and attending stupid meetings and writing grants? No? Then you know nothing. These people are living in a fantasy world. It’s as simple as that. We don’t have the luxury of pretending we don’t live in the real world. We do live in it. Real world, real people, real suffering. 32 million real people who will lose health insurance. Anyone who doesn’t understand that is an entitled spoiled brat playing with philosophical ideas and imagining they don’t have any consequences– and the number of you I have known over the years!! I know these people inside and out. The only thing I don’t agree with in this article is that I think the author gives too much of a free pass to Trump voters. Other than that– yes. It’s true.

  7. Why are all you Democrats fighting with one another have you forgotten that Russia gave us Trump!! If we’re going to keep him from getting a second term we need to unite

    • You what too much CNN. Russia didn’t give us Trump, Clinton did. And the hole Russia thing was just the excuse and distraction the democrats selected to cover their incompetence. The democrat party had the opportunity to dump Clinton and replace her with someone better when the comey and other scandals arose. (This is what happens in other real democracies when a candidate becomes poison). But they didn’t. Sanders was just one of several democrats that would have easily beaten Trump.

  8. Jonathan Larkin on

was the Iraq war a good thing ? do you know who voted to go to war and who didn`t ? bernie sanders was essentially muted by the d.n.c. and all of the main media including n.p.r. during the whole nomination process. they are to blame more than anyone else for trump being president.

    • Sure, no one knew who Bernie was when they went to vote and they didn’t have his one finger-wagging speech memorized…

Also, maybe you should look up Bernie’s multiple votes in the 90s to push for regime change in Iraq through military force.

  9. Proud Bernie or Buster here! If the DNC rigs the 2020 primary against Bernie again, we’ll happy re-elect Trump!

  10. You do know that 8% of Democrats voted for Trump, right? And that 8 million Democrats who voted for Obama in 2012 voted for Trump in 2016?

Hillary was a crap candidate whose only accomplishment was being the first candidate in US history who felt she was entitled to your vote, and didn’t have to earn it like everyone else. Her hubris was breathtaking. Her sense of entitlement was astounding. Her tone-deafness to the concerns and priorities of the people was simply inexcusable.

  11. Hey Reuben,

I’m a Bernie or buster. I never went anywhere. I never stopped talking. #berniewouldhavewon Perhaps you are unfamiliar with the electoral system. I live in California, the state that put Hillary over the top in the popular vote over Trump by 3 million votes. So many that Trump believes that “illegals” voted for her. I traveled to the DNC and saw how corrupt the party really became. It was a scripted event long before Bernie decided to run. Do you remember what Trump did when Hillary secured the nomination? To paraphrase, “and to the Bernie Sanders supporters who were victims of a rigged nomination process I welcome you with open arms.” What did Hillary say on the same night? “I know what it’s like to lose.” Then she ran a campaign that would make any Republican proud turning her back completely on the progressive base of her party as if it was our obligation to vote for her. And you know what? Almost all of them did. But for me, I still voted for a woman for president. Her name was Dr. Jill Stein, and I got to meet her in Philadelphia. I didn’t meet Hillary, but I did meet her goons. Like I said, my vote was all academic because in California she got 3 million more votes than she needed. She should have put more effort into Michigan and Pennsylvania. My advice to you? Stay angry, do your civic duty and vote Democrat the rest of your life. And don’t peek behind the curtain, you really won’t like what you see. I honestly say I wish I could be as blissfully ignorant as you. It’s red pill time. #berniewouldhavewon

  12. AMEN! Thank you for this cleansing ritual dedicated to the toxic mess that is “Bernie or Bust”. Bernie is the poster child for mediocre but entitled white man. You expect me to be inspired by an Ivy league educated white man who DID NOT HOLD A JOB until he was 39 and ran for local government? This bastard didn’t even VOTE until he himself was on the ballot!! He stole electricity from neighbours and didn’t pay child support for his ONLY child. He has spent 25 years grandstanding on the sidelines because NOBODY wants to work with him. His sanctimonious attitude might be the reason why the only 2 bills he ever got out of committee were to rename a post office in Vermont!! You think I am willing to trust my future to a lazy, entitled “socialist” who can’t tell the difference between a Democrat and a Republican? This man has nothing to offer our country, but endless bitterness. The DNC needs to dump this toxic man if they want to regain seats and $$. Just today reports noted that DNC fundraising has plummetted. I guess I am not the only one withholding $$ until Bernie is sidelined.

    • Seriously. This is a man who spent a career in congress doing nothing. An independent socialist who switched parties to go on some ego trip. He’s continuing to screw around with the party, fomenting the whole – democrats are republicans narrative. Hateful man.

    • Gale Magers Abernathy on

That old fart didn’t receive an Ivy League education, unless the University of Chicago is Ivy League.

  13. I love you. I LOVE you. Thank you. This was a horror show. I felt like I was having a nightmare. The kind where you can’t move forward because the mud is pulling you back? I knew we were going to lose and I knew exactly why. Only an idiot wouldn’t have known. I knew we needed a democrat in office because three branches — ALL THREE BRANCHES — were going to the GOP. I knew what they planned to do to the environment, to civil rights, to healthcare. All of it. They stated it up front. And what did they asshole idiot morons do?? What did they do? They chanted and booed while Cory Booker talked about disabled kids and mothers of murdered teenagers gathered on stage. They booed and they chanted and had die-ins like the stupidest people any human ever gave birth to and we had to watch it. We had to watch it all. And there was nothing we could do about it. Pissed, yes. Still pissed. Hoping they can get a fucking clue before it turns into 1972 and Trump wins AGAIN because these idiots get control of the party. Anyway, thank you. Just thank you.

  14. Really? No mention of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz? SHE is the reason for Trump, rigging the primary. Also, Trump wasn’t a republican either, and in fact good friends with the Clinton family.

Hillary stopped defending the TPP after the Bernie supporters were against it, instead of defending it with the advantages you describe. Had she simply said “The whole purpose of the TPP is to lessen China’s influence in the region” that would’ve helped her a lot. And the TPP is far from the only decision she’s flipped on. The only major party candidate on either side to understand this is Kasich. Gary Johnson understood too, but he was third-party.

She doesn’t stand for anything, just like Romney on the republican side.

The votes that Jill Stein “took away” from Hillary are far less than what Gary Johnson took from Trump.

And as mentioned, Hillary won the popular vote.

Had Bernie won the primary, he would’ve beaten Trump bigly. Believe me.

      • SASHA STONE you have NO IDEA how much pleasure I get from watching the likes of you and this Levy douche BERN. Suffer baby SUFFER! 😉

        • So, Berner, do you get even more pleasure than you do from watching Trump jack the Supreme Court, destroy the EPA & the climate, and tweet about using his nukes? If so I’m sure you’re loving the idea of 12,000 trans troops having their careers destroyed a whim. Not to mention the white supremacists screaming hate and marching in support of their great leader. And Russia calling the foreign policy shots for our nation. Actually, Im pretty sure you’re a Putin troll posting from your mama’s basement in Macedonia.

          • LMAO Putin troll, yeah. Is that the best you got? Your candidate lost to a buffoon. A BUFFOON! And spent $1.2 BILLION doing it. That’s how damn awful she was. But yeah, it’s someone else’s fault. Guess what? Keep up this attitude and give us Harris, Booker, Warren….and you’ll lose again. Don’t believe me? Just watch. Now go enjoy the next 4 years. It’s a $1.2 billion gift from your beloved DNC 😉

    • I’d also like to add another fuck off. Hillary Clinton won the primary fair and square. If Bernie Sanders hadn’t been a fuckface all the way and past the convention Hillary would have won.

  15. He had every right to inject himself into the primary, but he should have dropped out after New York, or after Pennsylvania at the very latest.

He did an incredible amount of damage between April 27 (the day after he lost the Pennsylvania primary) and the convention. Damage he couldn’t undo with his half-assed endorsement later on.

    • His “half-assed” endorsement of Hillary was still twice as assed as Hillary’s non endorsement of Bernie’s supporters. Trump made a better pitch to win over the Berners. #berniewouldhavewon

  16. Patti Ireland on

No, Bernie Sanders is not responsible for the election of Trump. Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Trump won the election because of the electoral college, which gives more weight to a few states with lower population density ( mostly the west , midwest and south), filled with disillusioned classic “middle class” white people who also tend to be religious ( or at least subscribe to certain religious beliefs, whether they actually live by them or not) and conservative socially. And who were duped by rhetoric designed to flame their fears of those who are different, and fears of how they are going to survive economically.
Ironically, the Electoral College was supposed to prevent exactly what we got in this last election- a completely unqualified demagogue.
Need we remind you, however, that every individual in this country has the right to vote their conscience. The 2016 election shows that a large number of people felt that they couldn’t support either of the candidates put forth by the 2 major parties, and thus it should serve notice that the parties are the ones with the problem, not the citizens. We are in an era where those who identify as Independents outnumber those who identify with EITHER the Republican or the Democratic parties. It is time for both parties to either recognize they are going to have nake changes, or for them to fade as new parties spring up to fill the void.

  17. California Bernie Sanders DNC Delegate on

“Where are the Bernie or busters, nowadays? You don’t hear from them much, do you?”…Not sure what rock you’ve been living under but the Bernie or Busters are working their asses off to reform the Democratic party and resist the Trump administration. We’re trying to make sure Dems nominate candidates that people want to vote for in 2018 and 2020, unlike what they did in 2016. I’d like to know what you have down since the election to try to make sure democrats don’t fail so hard again in 2018? I’m guessing you just sit around and complain about the people doing the real work. Seriously, do fuck yourself.

    • Progressive Bernicrat on

Where is Hillary? As Bernie rises to being the most popular politician in DC, Hillary is nowhere to be found. As Bernie fights for lower prescription costs and single payer healthcare, where is Hillary nowadays?

  18. Go fuck yourself you clueless moron. You idiots gave us trump. Sanders made less than $2k in speaking fees while clinton earned $153MILLION FUCKING DOLLARS. Get over yourself. You backed a dud and its not our fault. Ffs she couldnt beat TRUMP!

  19. JEB (a different one) on

Had Wasserman Schultz not rigged the primaries, Sanders would have been the Democratic nominee and probably would have gotten the votes that went to Trump because he isn’t Hillary. You are pissed at the wrong people.
Grow up. Stop the name calling. Recognize where the problems are in the process and those who take advantage of it.

    • Actually, the person who “stole” the primaries was Bernie Sanders. A “proud independent,” he decided it would be cool to move in and “steal” the Democratic Party apparatus, rather than run as an Independent. So what does this mean? Stabbing in the back people who put in thousands of hours every year to administer the party, to organize, to run primaries, to push for policies, etc. In fact, it was HE, Sanders, who stole, not Wasserman-Schultz. And why do you claim that it was her? Because, guess what, Senator Bernie Sanders told you so. More of his divisiveness and undermining of the party he chose to steal from. And the voters, who were Democrats, and the people who will suffer from Trump Administration policies. And what’s Bernie doing now? Is he looking to bring in some young progressive who can represent Bernie’s supposed “wing” of the Democratic Party, to which Bernie still does not belong? NO! He’s throwing out more of his b.s., inaccessible supposed policies that couldn’t even get out of committee, let alone be passed by Congress. “Click here for Single-Payer.” He must be joking, but rather he’s, as usual, manipulating. The purpose of which is two-fold: 1. To raise money for his next Presidential campaign as an 80-year old!!! and 2. To further manipulate his idiotic “followers” who know nothing about politics, only about the ideology of the falsehood. If Bernie is so “selfless,” why is he trying to run for President as a completely un-electable 80-year old? Why isn’t he supporting somebody who would be a reasonable progressive candidate in 2020? In short, agreeing with the writer of this article–Bernie and Trump were two sides of the same lying-their-asses-off bullshit artist coin. STOP BERNIE NOW!!!

    • Please do tell us how DWS actually rigged the primaries. What specific actions did she take? Please provide documentation.

Doesn’t this whole piece sort of ignore the fact that she won the popular vote but lost crucial states in which she failed to even campaign?

And did this author seriously spend that much time coming up with childish insults, having the gaul to both talk shit on percieved hipster culture (honestly, what’s more hipster than making fun of hipsters) while also having a byline that cats himself as “equal parts gadfly” and “provocateur”)? This is the kinda shit some dumbass high school kid thinks is insightful or edgy.

    • I’ll tell you why, in my opinion, columns like this are still necessary. Because Bernie is still out there, trying to run for President as an 80-year old in 2020 and he MUST be stopped NOW because his “followers” are still following him. That’s why he deserves our continuing derision. Insults are nothing compared to the harm that the Trump Administration that Bernie helped elect is doing to our country and our world. Everything in Bernie’s supposed platform is now being turned upside down. And his followers, aspiring the perfect instead of accepting the good, now see their dreams crash and burn. This is what happens when an absolutist whose entire career has involved him working with no one, manages to convince a bunch of acolytes that he is the “truth teller,” instead of the liar he is. One of two Senators who voted against Trump’s being able to reduce sanctions against Russia, Bernie came up with his own b.s. reason why. Anything to stand out, show off, make a headline for his stupid self. Representative of a 97% white state who thinks he has the know-how to lead a heterogeneous country such as ours. And his achievements in all his years in the Congress, practically zero. What fools ye be to follow him! So, that’s why.

  21. Y’all should have listened to me! If I’d won the election we’d all be enjoying a good guac bowl right about now.

  22. Wow. The level of arrogant self-righteousness in this post clearly identifies the author as a Democrat, which is to say, a spoiled college brat who thinks Karl Marx was the savior of humanity, and we could all have a happy world if we would just hand over all of the money to the Clinton crime family and let them spend it for us.
I’m glad Trump won, if for no other reason than it kept that murderous hag from gaining absolute power. She would have been an American Stalin if she would have been president.

    • And your response clearly identifies you as a complete moron. You’d rather have trump? You are exactly what the author describes, a typical Bernie fuckface.

  23. I agree with you 100%! I saw through him from day one! Don’t expect his sycophants to agree with you. They swallowed his hypocritical BS hook line and sinker. Yep, I am still pissed and will never vote for that no-tax producing lying old communist.

If you really want to see a “loathsome contingent of humanity,” just look in the mirror. 8+ years of the GOP’s thinly veiled racism toward Barack Obama gave us Trump. Media outlets spreading false stories and conspiracy theories gave us Trump. Dumber than dirt third party candidates gave us Trump. Rich fucks wanting to get richer gave us Trump. Demonization of minorities, thepoor and immigrants have us Trump. That Bernie Sanders spoke to those who felt left behind by their political parties did not cost Clinton the election. The Democrats and the DNC continue to look everywhere but at themselves for the reason Clinton lost. As long as this continues, they will continue to lose.

  25. Congratulations! You win the award for most idiotic post on the internet today. While everybody is entitled to their opinions, know that yours are wrong.
