After a long day at the office, worldwide media have just reported that the ‘skinny’ repeal option to destroy Obamacare being pushed by the Republicans this week has failed.

This is a very large blow to (f)ailing President Trump. Initially hoping to replace Obamacare with a more market-driven Republican alternative, he had been forced into a ‘repeal or replace’ position. He temporarily even stated he would ‘do nothing’ and wait for Obamacare to fail. This now seems the best he can hope for.

In a tantalizing minor detail, John McCain was one of three GOP senators to vote against. Not to abstain, but to vote against. This is just days after he returned to work from a serious medical procedure in order to vote for the motion to allow these further debates to occur.
