In an interview with Fox News released on Friday, Donald J. Trump criticized President Obama over his mishandling of the Russia hack.
“Well I just heard today for the first time that Obama knew about Russia a long time before the election, and he did nothing about it,” he said. “But nobody wants to talk about that.”
Adding, “The CIA gave him information on Russia a long time before they even — before the election. And I hardly see it. It’s an amazing thing. To me, in other words, the question is, if he had the information, why didn’t he do something about it? He should have done something about it. But you don’t read that. It’s quite sad.”
Later on that night he took to his trusty Twitter to underscore the sentiment in 141 characters or less.
Just out: The Obama Administration knew far in advance of November 8th about election meddling by Russia. Did nothing about it. WHY?

You know what? As loathe as I am to agree with the talking yam, he’s absolutely right.
In a Friday story in the Washington Post an Obama official admits the failure on the part of Obama to properly address Vladimir Putin’s direct attack on 2016’s presidential election.
“It is the hardest thing about my entire time in government to defend,” the former senior Obama administration official told the Post. “I feel like we sort of choked.”
Rather than hit Putin where it hurts, Obama responded in weak fashion, throwing out a handful of diplomats, closing a couple of Russian compounds, and imposing some middling sanctions.
So what was the rationale behind Obama’s pathetic response? According to the Post report, he didn’t want to be perceived as trying to influence the election in Clinton’s favor. Jeebus mamaloocha? Are you fistfucking kidding me? She was the democratic candidate, for crying eye…with a veritable maniac as her opponent. He contributed to her loss because he feared the public would feel he was being unfair to the electoral process? Do you think if it had been a Republican president, they would have had such considerations? Of course not. They would have railed from the top of the White House that the Russians were attempting to swing the election – and they would have won.
Sen. Jeff Merkley reacted to the Friday report, saying, “It is such a dilemma, because if he had acted aggressively, in a way that he had gone public and said, ‘This is why we’re doing this,’ it would have been seized upon as an attempt to bias the election. So, there was enormous bias in the election because of the Russians, but how do you balance that out without further damaging it? It is an extremely difficult problem.”
Obama dropped the ball, because he felt no urgency to advocate for Clinton. Let’s face it, Obama never supported Clinton the way he should have. He let his personal ambivalence towards her get in the way of doing what was the right for the country. Sure, there’s a lot of blame to go around…Clinton’s flaws as a candidate, the repugnant Bernie or busters, the Russian hack…but we can’t underestimate the devastating impact of Obama’s utter soft cock impotence in dealing with the Russians, and his lackluster efforts to support Clinton when it counted the most.
